Na presente fase composicional, eu procuro ter presente a ideia ou a imagem do universo em que vivemos como quando olhamos o espaço através de um telescópio e todos os pontos se conectam, tudo se expande e se contrai, tudo coabita em harmoniosa tensão, tudo é distante e próximo, tudo é real e ilusão, tudo é absoluto e relativo, tudo se manifesta e tudo está contido. É talvez assim que melhor consigo transmitir o que visualizo e o que sinto enquanto componho e será talvez a melhor maneira de retratar a música que neste momento crio. Esta noção de “universo” é muito recente e está em mim presente desde 2002, quando da realização de uma composição intitulada Aurora 5 pour guitare et piano. Nesta, tento contar a viagem fantasiada de uma aurora boreal pelo espaço até à entrada na atmosfera terrestre, dissipando-se progressivamente até desaparecer. No fundo, são estes os elementos geradores de que dispomos relativamente a todas as técnicas de transformações harmónicas, melódicas e rítmicas. Não serão universais todos os processos?

Some considerations
At this composisional stage, I try to remember the idea or the image of the universe we live like when we look the space through a telescope and all points are connected, it expands and contracts, all cohabit in harmonious tension, everything is near and far, everything is real and illusion, everything is relative and absolute, everything is clear and everything is contained. It is perhaps better so I can convey what I feel and what I view as compose and is perhaps the best way to portray the music that I create now. This notion of "universe" is very recent and this is in me since 2002, when conducting an essay entitled Aurora 5 pour guitare et piano. In this, I try to tell the journey dressed as an aurora borealis for the space until the entry into the atmosphere, dissipating gradually until it disappears.
